Name: Yamanaka Ino Age: 18 Concentration: Dance Ino is no stranger to rock and roll, the stage, and the glam life. Her father is a popular hair metal rock star and her mother is a groupie who never gave up the fast life even after giving birth to her one and only child. Ino was mostly left to herself to play with her rooms filled with toys and roam her castle-like mansion but was lavished with whatever she wanted whenever she wanted and her father's devotion… whenever he was around to give it to her. She fell in love with ballet at the age of three after seeing The Nutcracker and has been studying for the past fifteen years. Along with ballet, Ino gradually added tap dance, modern dance, and jazz to her repertoire. She doesn't just love to dance at the studio; every concert and every club will always have a familiar blond head in the crowd just moving along with the music. Fashion and sewing is also something that has always tickled Ino's fancy. When she isn't tearing up the dance floor, she is at the mall getting materials for costumes or picking up rainbow colored leggings to go under her denim mini skirt. She is the epitome of 80's bubblegum fashion complete with leg warmers, high heels with straight legged jeans, off the shoulder sweaters, fishnet, lace, and crimped hair. She has a love affair with chunky, shiny accessories but then again, it's the 80's—who doesn't? After meeting Sakura in high school and learning of her dream to form a girl group, Ino was coerced into learning how to play the bass guitar. Her father was more than happy to teach her… just as long as she didn't try to date any rock stars. She likes all sorts of music but she has a certain love and respect for Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Bananarama, Strawberry Switchblade, The Go-Go's and The Bangles. Her dance inspirations are Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and Maya Plisetskaya. Ino is a prima donna and isn't afraid to let people know it. ♥ |
